Funeral Payments

Your funeral director is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the funeral service. An important part of this is coordinating payments for the goods and services associated with the funeral. These may include cemetery plots, cremation fees, floral tributes, funeral notices, catering, clergy, celebrants and musicians.

To make the process as straightforward as possible, all funeral expenses are itemised on one account, including the services provided by McCartney Family Funerals.

Payment Options

We accept the following payment methods:

• Direct deposit (bank transfer)

• Cash

• BPAY

• PayID

If your loved one held a bank account with sufficient funds to cover the funeral expenses, it may be possible for the bank to pay the funeral invoice directly from their account. This is subject to the bank’s requirements and approval.

Discussing Funeral Costs

We understand that discussing finances during a time of loss can feel difficult. However, having an open and honest conversation about funeral costs is an important part of planning a meaningful farewell.

When Is Payment Required?

All funeral expenses must be paid in full prior to the funeral service taking place.
