Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m a speech therapist working at UQ. Another member of our aphasia group told me today that Christine had recently passed away – I’m so very sorry for your loss. It’s been quite a few years since Christine attended speech therapy at UQ, but I will always remember her kindness and warmth towards everyone at the clinic, and just wanted to pass that on. May she rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences to Malcolm and the family. We are sorry Christine passed away this year in May 2025 – our appreciation for her life friendship and counseling and also to Malcolm, for their love and professional education, kind wishes – Ann and Keith Davy – Victoria Point
Hello Malcolm. My deepest condolences to you and the family on the death of your beloved Christine. She was an inspiration, a shining light that can never be dimmed.
She had been foremost in my thoughts these past months and I wasn’t exactly sure why … other than of course that she’d been a huge support and comfort to me throughout the nineties during a very difficult time when I was living in northern NSW.
I decided to make contact with her and thank her for her kindness and compassion, her words, that I still often hear in my mind. I was deeply saddened then to recently read of her death in May … the time when I started thinking about her.
My heart goes out to you and the family … May her spirit live on. May she rest in peace. Vale Christine.
