Individually crafted using bohemian glass making techniques by highly skilled artisans in the Czech Republic. Comes with satin back to hold cremains. How it is made: When the glassblower has the glass still hot on a pipe, another glass blower lays about one hundred of 10 cm long white thin glass rods next to each other. Another glass blower takes a v-shape metal hook and pulls them from right to left through the middle. This creates the effect of the feather. Then, the master glass blower finishes the urn to its final shape, by reheating the glass several times in the furnace and blowing more air through the pipe into the glass.
