My condolences to the McPhail family.
I worked with Mark at the Hermitage Research Station in Warwick in 2006-2007. We had a lot in common and we kept in touch by email over the years. I only just found out about this very sad news.
I will miss him, especially his expert commentary on sci-fi movies, deep and thought-provoking discussions and his unique brand of humour.
