Dear John, Kym and Mike,
Thank you for sharing the filming of Pat’s Celebration of Life with us. While Bruce was in attendance yesterday, Judy waited at home with laryngitis, remembering Pat who was a much loved and admired friend and neighbour. Bruce has clear memories of Pat from his early life, but since our return to Brisbane in 1980, in adult life we both thoroughly enjoyed every chance we had to engage with Pat – always so warm, intelligent, humorous, rational, accomplished and interested.
It was a great joy having Pat in our lives. We will miss her wonderful conversations and her warm, charming smile. How bravely Pat carried her difficulties suffered in her later times. She is now a truly cherished memory!
